OUR FABRICS

Here is a short presentation of the fabrics chosen for this first collection. Each type of fabric has its advantages and disadvantages.

LA JAZZ is not perfectly ethical, but we do our best by using the various ecological alternatives available on the market.

In its responsible approach, LA JAZZ offers different textile alternatives for its pieces:

  • natural fabrics
  • Sustainable fabrics
  • recycled fabrics
  • Fabrics from deadstock of luxury houses
Sustainable materials

Tencel, Ecovero Viscose, Cupro

Artificial fibers from natural or vegetable materials that undergo chemical treatments. These fabrics are resistant and soft, also called "vegetable silk".

  • Tencel and ecovero viscose are made from wood pulp, produced by the Austrian company LENZING.
  • Cupro is made from cotton linter. The Cupro® or Bemberg® certifications ensure the ecological character of the material.
Materials from deadstock

Cotton, Viscose, Silk, Cupro, etc.

These fabrics come from deadstocks. Upcycling avoids the waste or destruction of materials. This makes it possible to revalue old stocks. The fabrics chosen are of high quality.

Natural materials

Organic cotton, linen

These textiles are natural and undergo little chemical transformation. They are comfortable, soft and absorbent. On the other hand, some fibers, such as cotton (even organic), require a lot of water to be grown.

Recycled materials

Cotton, Polyester, Recycled Elastane

These fabrics are made from recycled fibers which help to avoid waste and waste of resources.

Recycling allows a more ecological alternative for these energy-intensive and polluting materials.
